Rupp ran 4:01.x in HS 4 years ago+, any guy who could run 4:01.x , could surely run 1:52.00 or better, look it up. I am surprised at all the hype on this,1:51.33 on a oversized track, is this that big a deal?

Rupp ran almost 4 minutes years ago.

This has to be from dyestat

"anyone who could run 4:01.x in HS could run either 8:40's or 1:52 or better you can almost look that up.

No biggie here as far as I am concerned."

What you didn't get the response you wanted there so you came on here hoping for the Rupp bashers to help you out? He didn't go all out in the 800 running 151, and hten came back 30 mins later and outkicked a 336/356 guy in a slow mile. All this in his first race/workout of a 10k runner indoors. And you honestly don't know why there is hype?

1)jogged a 151
2)had 30 min rest
3)outkicked a 336 guy off a 215 first half.
4)He's a 10k runner and this is his first race
5)Combine all the above and you have insane performance.
