just so you know i went to see dr padgett who works with dr kelly at hss. i brought my films that apparently did show a posterior labral tear.
he and other docs have all told me to leave the hip labrum alone. even post-op, with some pain still lingering in one side.
not that it is the same deal for you. but i think that a hip labral surgery is way more serious than a sportrs hernia surgery and you should at least do the sh surgery first. then take yoru time to heal from taht before really thinking about getting little tools put into that tight joint. at least that is what i was told.
