NO. I will keep saying it until someone who isn't using tunnel vision picks up the discussion and sees the statement for what it is. Craig posted something as an absolute. He and you are wrong.

LONG RUNS ARE NOT ESSENTIAL FOR MIDDLE DISTANCE SUCCESS AT THE HIGHEST LEVELS.
