RE: Three Cheers for Nike Basing Its Ad Campaign on a Drug Cheat

For whatever reason, his drug use was glossed over very smoothly last year. I bet most football fans hardly remember it. I mean, the cheater was the defensive MVP of the league last year, despite missing how many ever games for his suspension and when using PEDs. Good grief.

Is everyone here forgetting that we are talking about the NFL which is just a step above the WWE? Noone cares if everyone in the NFL is on drugs, its pure entertainment. It's not exactly a hallowed game. Its a bunch of oversized monsters running around on the field. I mean does anyone care if the Undertaker or Stone Cold is on steroids? No because it makes it more fun to watch. It's like Nascar. The faster and bigger the crashes, the sweeter it is to watch.
Yea it's wrong but it's so damn fun to watch.

Baseball is different in that it is held sacred by alot of people.

I personally love the NFL but you cannot compare it to track or other sports. Its pure entertainment. It's a freak show and we love it.
