Sometimes I don't understand this world seriously.
Why should we be impressed by people trying to beat minor road race record when they are dodging these records on track?
There is no money for 5000 or 10000 on track, especially compared to road races. Road races are mass participation, and the best way for "common" people to follow or be fans of the sport.
