To be fair, if he's a Nike athlete I don't think he can be blamed for taking the shoes they're giving him. Also, this course was pretty winding I believe, and I think he could go at least as fast if not faster on a track just in regular spikes.
Kipruto vs. Kejelcha vs. Cheptegei in Tokyo is going to be really exciting, I don't think Farah is going to be a factor now that these guys are actually running fast races rather than tactical ones.
