Yes, it's crazy. Jurrie was really confident, as well as his coach Addy. Addy told me that 6x1000 workout indicated a time of 12:50 on a track, so it was incredible to have Joshua run 12:51 in Monaco.

The course is definitely fast, but not the fastest, there was a big u-turn, few other slight corners and slightly undulating roads at times. It could have been 12:45-46 on a perfect course. Bear in mind he soloed the race gun to tape. Were he to have someone pacing him through 2k at least, he could have gone 2-3" faster and 5000m/5k isn't his best event, scary to think so.

He must be in sub 26:30 shape too for 10,000m, Rhonex will have a very hard time to drop Joshua, as Cheptegei will be confident he has the upper hand in a last lap finish.
