Can the owners of this site finally stop crying about/doing free advertisment for the Vaporfly all day long?

Takumi Sen

I like LRC a lot, but seriously, it's extremly annoying that I have to read this crap 24/7 - one might think that especially rojo gets sponsored by Nike to point out all day long how unfair he thinks the shoe is (it's perfect advertisment after all and makes people forget about a ridiculous WR set in the adidas Takumi Sen).

Solely yesterday there were three thread created by the owners featuring the Vaporfly, one of them ("Unfit journalist puts on Vaporflys, knocks off 2.5 minutes off a 42 minute run ") a candidate for the most absurd and laughable thread this forum has seen in it's history (I would expect it on runnersworld or r/running, but surely not here). And today it continues with the Dubai marathon report. Virutally the whole male leading group did wear the shoe, yet the winning time was relatively unspectacular (slowest since 2011) and the depth - as actually pointed out in the article - neither unseen nor suprising considering the previous editions. On the women's side adidas even went 1-2-3-5, yet - despite all those facts - the article manages to mention the word "Vaporfly" for a total of 8 times. Are you serious? Please just stop it.
