- BYU is the NCAA equivalent to WCAP. Coach Eyestone works the sequencing which includes both a 2-year Mission & a Red-Shirt year. Couple Age/Maturity with Altitude & Aversion to non-distance running & you have your formula for success. Let's not forget, Eyestone is a helluva coach as well.

- No, Mantz wouldn't be better .... I don't buy that the BYU athletes don't maintain training during their mission year.
