Huge run for Kipruto, who according to Jeff Eggleston and Cuan Walker ran a big negative split of 13:36/13:10 (!!!).

He's now #2 on the all-time list for road 10k, behind only Leonard Komon's 26:44 WR. No one else has ever broken 27:00 on the roads. No one has run 26:46 on the track since Galen Rupp set the AR of 26:44 back at the 2014 Pre Classic.

Kipruto is a huge talent as he already ran 27:08 on the roads at Healthy Kidney in NYC back in April and won the World U20 10,000m title in July.

Rhonex has been one of the very best Kenya juniors for a couple of years now. He has extraordinary talent.

I think the world record at both 5000/10000m will fall in just a couple of years now with runners like Barega, Kejelcha,Rhonex, Cheptengai and so on.

Wow, you're really going out on a limb there aren't you? What an amazing prediction that no one else in the world could have thought of. Thanks for the amazing after the fact insight. You should be a real coach somewhere.

LOL!!!!!
