Incredible if true. This would still be short of Brit Max Burgin's 15 year old record this year of 1:49.42.
"He owns the world records for 13-year-olds (1:56.41) and 14-year-olds (1:51.23), though he has a rival, Max Burgin, for the 15-year-old category, as the Brit set the current age 15 record at 1:49.42 earlier this summer."
If he is even 15 (and I think his bday was recently).
As of his MO state HS title (late May?) though, he was still 14 and ran 1:50.84.
Either way, he has his whole next years HS season to improve.
