After the 2016 Manhattan Invite in October, a fellow runner reported Terry Varicelli of Union City had snuck into the boys eastern championship race after noticing discrepancies in the MileSplit photo albums.
Great work by that fellow runner!

I was in this race and, even though I was towards the back of the pack, can guarantee he was nowhere to be seen the first half of the race. Totally disrespectful to the sport.

I went to running camp with this kid last year. His name was Terry Varicelli. Probably the most stuck up kids I've ever met. He lied about everything. I'm also friends with some girls he used to be friends with and they said that most of what comes out of his mouth isn't true. The last time he tried to cheat I tagged the guy that caught him on his Instagram post talking about how he's being recruited and Terry blocked me on Instagram(Jon Dooling, cba grad caught him, I also went to camp with Jon). My school also hosts a very big twilight meet and Terry happened to be there, lo and behold he lied about his seed time and got put into the seeded race (all the studs in the state run in this heat) and he dropped out at the 800 because he was too tired. He then posted on Instagram that he ran a certain time when indeed he dropped out.
