Let's say I was trying to break 5:00 mile.
If I did a 4x400 workout: 74,74,74,74 as prep, people on this board would be screaming "not enough reps!". They would say "you are racing your workouts".
Is it the additional 4x200 that makes this work-out great?
I always thought mile training need at least 8x400 consecutive. This workout has lots of rest between sets. 7:00, right?
The speeds are very fast, but is this an ideal work-out for improvement, or is it just a confidence booster?
