The secrets of Asbel Kiprop revealed - Our man on the ground in Kenya says hand him the gold and WRecord

Our man on the ground in Kenya, Andy Arnold, has gotten behind the scenes access to Asbel Kiprop's last two big workouts before the Pre Classic and they have blown him away.

What do you think of this workout??

All done at 7,300 feet of altitude.

1200: 2:47

7:00 rest

4 x 400 (:50 rest): 54, 53, 54, 54

7:00 rest

4 x 200 (:50 rest): 23, 23, 23, 23

Pretty amazing. And you can read all about it for free which is quite a feat of modern technology especially considering that Asbel Kiprop had to pay roughly $30 to do the workout ($5 for each person in his group working out), consider yourself lucky that we aren't charging you that much to read the workout.

PS. And to think the hardest workout we did at Cornell with John Kellogg was 1200 at race pace, 3 minutes rest, 3 x 400 at goal pace (with 1 minute rest). Most guys couldn't handle the 400s.
