Official 2014 Boston Marathon Race Discussion Thread

Historically, Meb and Ryan’s 8 ‘A game’ performances have produced one major win. If 12.5% (1/8) of the time that they run their “A” game, they win, then that means the odds of either one of them is 29.6% * 12.5%. That 3.7%.

Argue that 3.7% (1/27) is a little high or a little low. .0051% (1/19,813) is definitely WAY LOW. Either way the odds aren’t very good.

Meb and Ryan both spoke confidently of their preparations on Friday of their preparations. The good news is we are indeed “Telling you there is a chance.”
