Although he seems built for 800/1500, his training is for 5000/10000 with very little work at faster paces than half marathon and the vast majority of workouts at AT pace with the double sessions 2-3 times per week. His threshold pace is a bit faster than 20k/hr. They do these workouts (5x6 minutes or 10x1k) at 2:55-3:00 pace, at least as of several years ago. For speed, they do hill sprints and then occasional track sessions of 10x300 at 1500m race pace, but that's really mostly for periods immediately prior to target races. So, he should run almost as well at 10 as 5.
