Sage's race was awesome. She is having a phenomenal season. The 53 / 1:58 400/800 speed would be a game changer at 1500. Will be interesting to see where she focuses given the strength of competition in the 800. She is 5th fastest in the US in both the 800 and the 1500. The US will get a 4th qualifier at the next worlds because of Mu's championship, but Houlihan isn't set to come back until 2025. Her 1:01.34 last 400 would have been 4th fastest at the US championships (albeit the US championships were run at a slower pace leading in.). I would think her superior 800 PR would give her the edge in a tactical race over the other competitors. Hopefully she can continue to grow stronger and faster.
