Are Maurica and Andy Powell in play for a possible buyout from Washington to be the new director/head coach team at Oregon? Uncle Phil is getting his wallet out.

I have no idea if Ben Thomas is in Uncle Phil's good graces to be the next head coach at Oregon, or if he's even head coach material. That said, PK's opinion is the only one that matters at Oregon.

I have no idea whether or not they’d want the Oregon job. But one thing they might consider is that Washington would never fire a head track coach for team performance reasons, so job security is better there—as it is nearly everywhere else—than at Oregon.
