Come on, the USATF stinks at advertising their own races! You would think that with the internet, social media, running web sites like Let’s Run, running YouTube channels, and local running stores, that National offices and the state chapters would be blasting their the race announcements every where. However, the USATF lives in a vacuum and only does a minimal pre-race advertising. A lot of times, USATF members only know about championship races if they go directly to the USATF National page or the chapter pages. I don’t really blame the chapters, because it is a volunteer organization with a limited budget and time, but you would think that National office could have better race production.
