What steps did the SB take to cover it up? Do you have a source other than the father's claims.
Not doubting it either way but this seems to be taken as fact because of the father's statements and the fact that he was dismissed and then arrested at the public hearing but that hearing was a sh!tshow for many reasons.
Still waiting to hear from the innocent until proven guilty crowd.
Are you fuggin kidding? Google is your friend, there are dozens of reputable sources quoting the SB chair as saying "no sexual assault has occurred at any loudin county campus" Bruh, before you insert your foot in your mouth, read at least one or two articles on the case. Sure the rapist might be innocent (why people like you and SD Aztec are pushing this line of thought is beyond me!) but why is he in the middle of pleading guilty to a plea deal with the local DA? Geezus you people are dense.
The fact that it's catnip to right wingers has zero bearing on whether it's horrific and should be dealt with definitively. Yet all you guys want to do is downplay it because a bunch of right wingers started pointing fingers at transgenders. THAT HAS NO BEARING ON THE FACT THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD PRES LIED AND A GIRL WAS RAPED. Holy effballs, what does it take to get through to you people?
I don't understand why school district would try to cover up the story up or lie about it. To what purpose and why does the father care? If it was me, I'd be after the district attorney to prosecute the boy and if I thought the school was negligent in some way, I would consider filing a lawsuit, but I certainly wouldn't go to a school board meeting to create a scene.
