This is the weirdest thing Letsrun has EVER seen in a marathon. Why did Ian Butler run backwards in the Chicago marathon?

Galen Rupp dropped a gel packet. Butler saw it, but it didn't register for a few seconds later that it was Rupp's. He figured that if he went back and picked it up, he could put it on Ebay and make some money.
