https://youtu.be/fyOMvm6f4hAAmos wouldn’t have fallen because of Jewett’s heel hitting his knee alone, which as the Olympic referees seem to have ruled, indeed is part of the race as it’s the cutter’s responsibility to be fast enough while cutting, not the cuttee’s responsibility to slow down.
From this angle it seems clearly Jewett' s fault. He cuts in unnecessarily, clips the knee if the guy behind him and wipes out taking that guy down with him. Nothing Amos could do, but Jewett didn't need to di what he did. Don't see any scenario where Jewett gets reinstated.
