I want my freedom back too but 1/3 of the US is obese so unfortunately it’s become everyone’s problem. Not all fat people can or will stay home. And when fat/old/unhealthy clog up the ICU languishing on a vent for 5 weeks, other patients will suffer.

It’s no surprise that poor/minorities are mostly dying in the US of COVId, they’re much more likely to be morbidly obese, have diabetes etc. obviously there are other issues for the poor like crowded housing, inability to socially isolate, and their jobs as essential workers. However we’re doing these people a disservice but ignoring the glaring health problems associated w poverty and lack of education and instead blaming the govt and hospitals when they die.

Smaller healthier countries (Scandinavia) can get away with a lot more than we can.
