Always interesting in just about every coaching thread on Let's Run that coaches are considered both all important and irrelevant at the same time. The truth is, as always, somewhere in the middle. When the right kid gets in the right program magic can happen - as looks to be the case here. Good coaches mostly have their own style, and just because a kid does not work in a particular style (i.e. Colorado isn't for everyone but no one should say Wetmore isn't a good coach) doesn't mean the coach is awful or that the kid isn't talented or hard working.
Glad it worked out in this case and hope the kid continues to be successful.
