i have an appointment with dr. muschaweck at the end of february. it has been a long and oftentimes confusing process in reaching this decision, but i am confident it is the right thing to do. this confidence is based on LOTS of research on the web (this thread has been especially helpful), correspondence with people who have had surgery with dr. M in the past, and e-mail correspondence with dr. M herself.

i will post updates with my progress. it's my first surgery and needless to say i'm a bit nervous about the whole thing.

here is a pdf article that came out last year when donovan mcnabb was contemplating what to do with his sports hernia. it is one of many articles i have found about dr. M that tell me this is the right decision.
