it sounds like another freshman girl got drunk, went back to a dorm or apartment and things happened.
I feel like this is so common that it's hard to differentiate between a situation like this. where a guy could have been totally innocently thinking nothing is wrong with whats happening and a situation where you've actually got a fucked up dude that will do terrible things to people.
No one is talking enough about this. Differentiating is so important so that we're not punishing innocent dudes and letting horrible ones off scott free
I just hope people are insightful enough, victims included to know whether or not the dude is a legitimate threat or not.
Considering he got caught another time I believe from the article

Who was the male athlete?
Yeah that makes sense
I, too, am an alum of the MSU Track and Cross Country program. This was back in the early 80's, and the coaches and administration were the same back then. They were obtuse and abusive, and would look the other way, or blame the athlete, if there was any controversy. Particularly for the female distance runners, eating disorders and body image issues were rampant. It is sad to see that nothing has changed in 30+ years.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
