USA Track & Field (USATF) reported a very generous compensation package for Max Siegel, its CEO, in 2018, totaling $4,294,650, although not all of it will be paid out until 2024.
His base pay was $611,014, he earned a bonus of $500,000, and he received $146,160 in “other reportable compensation,” for a total of $1,257,174 in 2018.
The bulk of his pay—$3,027,250—was in the form of “retirement and other deferred compensation.”
