Hey massholes, are you pretending to be a stereotypical Boston "@sshole"... we're not like that at all. No one is at risk running tomorrow. NO ONE. you are creating panic in your mind and with others. Get a life.

Another one, you punks. Stay off the course tomorrow and let us run. Ain't no difference between today and tomorrow NONE.
I’m pointing out that those that run the course tomorrow are massholes.
If you read Mayor Marty Walsh's Tweet he urges people not to run but that he can't stop us. He knows there will be quite a few that run. The lies people put on here about arrests are unnerving. Bunch of sheep. It's why 2013 happened.

Anyone caught running on the Boston Marathon course tomorrow should be banned at the following levels:
- from participation in any future BAA events
- from participation in other local road races that have responsible RDs and can coordinate with BAA to get the names of arrestees
- from membership in USATF or any USATF affiliated club.
Also, I hope everyone who runs on the course tomorrow burns every piece of toast they make for the rest of their lives.
Why? What law are they breaking. Exercise is legal in Massachusetts. As long as they do it and keep their distance why should we care if someone runs 26 miles and gets picked up by someone in their family?
If you wanted to push it even further, the state Stay at Home "order" in Mass is actually not an "order" it is just guidance.
https://www.mass.gov/news/dph-public-health-advisory-stay-at-home-advisoryHas anyone said this is illegal?
Hey masshole, explain to me why it would be irresponsible to run tomorrow. Change my mind. People ran today and you didn't care. It wasn't on your radar. Why is tomorrow any different? Or the next day? or the Next?
My singlet now reads "RUNNING FOR 1ST RESPONDERS" and will be donating $10/mile. That'll shut up any stupid young cop wanting to cross the line and be illegal.
Right after you explain how I am why 2013 happened.
Just saw the GOAT thread where you laud Rupp and attack Simpson. Typical masshole.

My wife is a MA State police officer. The State will be putting signs out tonight that will not allow running on the Boston Marathon Course. Tomorrow. They will be enforcing NO RUNNING even if you are alone. The carriage roads will be okay but the course will be closed.
Just seeing this thread. Is this true? Anyone have a link? Not sure what the rules are in Boston.
Pretty sure in Connecticut where I live anyone can go run 26.2.
Now that doesn't mean certain municipalities aren't banning certain things that the state allows For example where I live, they locked the parking lot to the beach, so no one can get there. Technically, I think it is still legal to be on the beach as it's state property but if you can't get there it doesn't matter.
Boston is run on public roads right? Unless the state issues some new rule or the municipalities issue a rule, if it is legal to run 26.2, under what guidance could they arrest someone running Boston?
I can see how they could really advise against it and encourage people not to do it, but am curious how legally they could stop it.
wejo, they can't stop people from running the course.
Ugh. Why is there discussion on legality? They postponed the marathon for a reason. What do you need to prove to go on the actual course? It is common sense right now. There is a difference between some random road tomorrow and the Boston marathon course on Patriots day! It is because people like you cant see the difference. If they dont impose these restrictions, then thousands of people will show up. Everyone go run 26.2 tomorrow. Great. I'm going out running tomorrow too. Just don't all do it on the marathon course. Selfish morons.
Distance runners on the whole are more passive-aggressive than the average population (for example, this post). Imagine if all those Michigan protesters were just cowardly distance runners only half-prepared to stand for something and you'll have those running out on the course tomorrow.
The courts are open for emergency matters. This includes arraignments. Funny nobody told our department we could not charge perps.
LIBERATE BOSTON!
Good. Those obsessive compulsive idiots can find something else to do. Like, call their kids from their first wife and spend some time with their kid from wife number 3.
Looking forward to these clowns coming through town. 2.8 miles in I’ll be using my paintball gun. I promise that no cop will help you. Should be fun.
I have absolutely no interest in ever running the sheep show that is the Boston marathon even though I have easily qualified for it many times. That being said, it would be intriguing to drive there and run the course on TUESDAY!!!!
This is a total disgrace! Banning people from going out for a run, absolute madness! They don't want you to have freedom. Next they'll be telling us we all have to be in bed by half past eight.
Hey Sergeant, looks like your bluff was called!!! Cops can't do sh!t. Heading out.
