What's a good set-up to be able to do squats safely at home? I don't really life heavy (under 200lbs) but would like some safety catch in case I need to bail on the weights. Should I look into a power rack? They're a bit more than I want to spend but not much but they seem more versatile (can do pull-ups. RDL and other things) . The other alternative I was thinking was maybe a squat stand (the beefy ones with j-hooks and a stable base). I have some heavy duty drop pads that I can use to drop the weights on instead of safety arms but that move seems a bit tricky to do (basically letting the barbell fall from behind)
