The thing is, Kenyans aren't any more dominant in the marathon. Most of the young marathon talents are Ethiopian, and they still dominate the 5000m.
It's debatable if even times are getting much faster without the shoes.
I wonder also if 5000m talent would translate so well to marathon success without EPO?
