Why..? I wear them for my walks around the block. Definitely cut off a few seconds !
Saw a 12 year old girl running a time trial in our neighborhood in Alpha Flys.

It’s $$$ not the quality of the runners who buy them and hat Nike cares. It’s a business, get used to it.
I recently acquired the white color way. I have been walking/ running in them and find they really help. I am hoping to build up and be able to run a 5k straight without walking. My legs feel so much better after using them. I will probably by some more when they are back in stock again.
I saw a guy walking his dog in some 4%. The worst part was that his dog was BAREFOOT. How cruel right? He could at least have gotten his dog a single pair of 4%. Or a pair of 4% and a pair of Zoom Flys.
I have a pair of Next %, pink, never used, size 12.5. You can have them for cost. Don't know why I bought them.
If Nike can make money from anybody, why would it want to limit the model to fast runners only?
Making the model sold out soon has been a common marketing strategy for Nike. But this time perhaps they had a supply issue as well. The factory in China, responsible for mass production of this model, was shut down during Feb and March. So it is possible that Nike is having a shortage of supply.

3:00? Huh? Save them for people that actually can run. 2:20 and under only.
You had plenty of time to get them if you wanted them
I see they went out of stock yesterday and now it says coming soon, so probably will get more stock soon - its not like the new CW is already finished.
Only 15 days until the Alphafly hits...
Funny you say that. I wear my VF Flyknits to walk my dog. They started feeling a little dead running in them so I transitioned them to my dog walking rotation. Comfortable to walk in.

Seems like a waste to give them to hobbyjoggers who can't even crack the top 3 at trials. If Nike cared about the sport, they would only give vaporflies to the olympic marathon team, and then take them back after the olympics to make sure they don't get resold to the general public.

I bought them just like toilet paper, cuz i like to horde stuff so others can't have it.

Has April 30th for the AlphaFly actually been confirmed? I know that's when the Peg 37 comes out but obviously can't figure out if the AlphaFly is actually going to be available that day.

Thats the date EasyBay say -
https://www.eastbay.com/release-dates.htmlBut thats all i know...
There will be another colorway of the Next% coming soon in the next few weeks. AlphaFly launch has been pushed back, probably won't see for several months.
Makes sense, why launch a big shoe when no one is racing and won't be for the foreseeable future.
So will the alpha fly become available 4 months before the 2021 Olympics so they can be used?
Did a couple nice slow miles in my VF's on the treadmill the other day, because why not?
