My whole family is back at the house for the quarantine. I came back from school, and my older brother came back when his job closed down.
When he wasn't eating with the family, I assumed that my brother was just doing his own thing for meals. He's a grownup with his own schedule and habits now. He has a small kitchen in the basement apartment he's using. I just assumed the guy was continuing to live however he lived when he was living by himself and was making his own meals.
Then I went down to grab something out of the freezer in the apartment about a week ago. Just out of curiosity, I popped the fridge open to have a look. The thing is stocked with enough beer to keep a legit bar running for a day (in addition to a few bottles of vodka lined up on the counter), and not a scrap of solid food. I started paying more attention over the next few days, and realized that the guy literally doesn't eat food anymore. Apparently he just gets all his calories in liquid form and figures that's good enough.
Is this a thing that people do? I've never heard of this before lol.
