honestly the safest time to do it. Single biggest risk factor is not the speed and typically not the road conditions... it's the volume of traffic that must be negotiated at rather high speeds. Since the average was 122, we can reasonably assume they were doing as close to 150 as possible, every chance they had. Thus, they're passing cars doing exactly twice as fast as the other cars, so that's the single greatest risk factor by a country mile. These guys are brilliant, this was the perfect time to do this, kudos to them!
