Good weekend for the Johnnies. 4 x 800 runner-up favorites?
Who knew St. Mary's had a miler? They miscount laps down there?

The Johnnies sure had a good weekend, but I won't choose them as 4 x 800 runner-up favorites. They only have two runners with sub-2 800. The Tommies will win the 4x800 for sure, I think Concordia will be close behind, then the Jonnies, and Gusties.
So I’ve been following the SMU guy for a while on Strava and I also knew him in hs. This has been a long time coming judging from all his workouts that he’s posted. His hs times say he should have been far ahead of where he is but what else do you expect from SMU. Hopefully he gets into races with other people this spring so we see how he actually stacks up against competition.
Any racing going on this weekend?
St. John's has a meet on their schedule. Might actually be decent weather too. Are they masking?
I believe Bethel and Augsburg will be having a dual meet, where there will be no spectators and masks as of now.
St Mary’s has a meet on their schedule as well
MIAC changed mask rules. Outdoor track mask rules will be up to the host school.
I think this is a good idea.
St. Scholastica raced at the Pioneer Open in Platteville this weekend. Had some decent results in the 1500, Steeple, and 5k
1500 podium sweep, steeple win, and a 5k silver. Apparently racing at SJU next week

Middendorf crosses the border to get some action. He's pretty untouchable in the 800. Took Munir with him for a vastly improved 1500m and Meaden proved his one fast Indoor mile wasn't a fluke, but the real news is that Fernando is using his Outdoor eligibility. Instant favorite in the 1500. Every team will race next weekend, should shake up the lists.
Middendorf definitely has the 800 on lockdown. When will Fernando hammer a 1500 or is he just gonna keep rolling with the 5000? Meaden looked aight in his race. Hopefully, he can race faster people soon so we can see if he can actually race or if he's just a glorified time trial kid.
Mendel lost it in the race vs Meaden so with some luck he comes back around to where he was in the past.
The upcoming weekend will be good. Who is racing where? Hamline and GAC are hosting, anyone else?
Next weekend should definitely shake things up! Other than Hamline and GAC, it looks like St Olaf is hosting Carleton and St Johns is hosting Concordia.
Hamline is taking their meet to St. John's. Bethel and the Tommies will be at River Falls. STO is bringing Mac and the Carls in to race in masks and prove their moral superiority.
Everyone has raced now. Highlights, Mueller cruises to conference leading 5000. I’m surprised Wilkinson didn’t run faster in his 1500, but I’m sure he just did enough for the win. Surely he’ll steeple in between weather next weekend.
Some nice 5K’s from the young Tommies! How was the weather across the river?
I thought Fernando would run a 1500 this weekend.
Will St. John’s travel this year? They are hosting every weekend. Props to them for stepping up to make races happen.
It's great seeing everyone's school on the board again. Been far too long since that was a thing.
SJU - kudos to hosting so often, that takes lots of work but they're making it happen
How'd the ol northfield schools like their meet?
How was across the river?
How was GAC? that whole meet had slow 800/1500(1:51 guy went 1:57, a week after 1:53..)
Could Fernando be waiting to make the 1500 "debut" at their home meet?
Wilkinson probs ran just to win plus he's been hurt for a majority of the winter so he could be finding that groove again.
Mueller took the conference lead but how hard did he have to work to make that happen?
Is Kozlowski donzo?
Who is racing where this week? Any possibility for good match ups?
Solid 5k times from the Gusties and Tommies. Middendorf drops 48.89 400m, a possible event for him at conference in addition to the 800/1500.
For this week it looks like Carleton will be hosting St Olaf, GAG. Hamline hosting Bethel, Augsburg, Saint Mary. Saint Johns looks to be hosting Concordia again.
I was in the 1500 at Gustavus on Saturday, it was decent conditions, almost everyone ran a little slower than there seed times though. I actually had a solid PR but was near the only one.
Impressive run for Mueller in a mask. I heard they won't have to mask after this week. Will be interesting to see when he and Wilkinson go after a fast 5K and when Wilkinson opens at steeple! I don't know that anyone will be within 30 seconds of him.
olaf about to reclaim the distance throne...
Since you were in the 1500, why did Meaden take everyone out in 45? Gutsy move that clearly was a mistake since he faded from first to 3rd. How did that impact the rest of the field?
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
