I did the hill repeats today with a few buds. Here are the details of it:
- Hill was ~300m long
- 12% grade. The hill gradually got steeper
- I hit around 57-60
- 2:30 jog rest (including down the hill)
- We did this 10 times
I think I want to decrease the rest to 2 minutes and increase the reps to 16-17 so I reach the 5k distance (I'm training for xc). Suggestions on how we should tackle this workout next time would be appreciated.
(Btw on my 12x400m workout i hit 75s and take 1:30 standing rest. This hill workout wasnt as hard as my 400 workouts usually are).
