Greenwich Village, Manhattan, NYC: BIG changes since the last full moon.
Not a ghost town--people on pretty much every block, at any time--but definitely quiet. NYT says subway use is down 80+%. My spouse is in an essential occupation--takes the subway but says there's no trouble keeping 2m apart. Same for me when I take the PATH train to Jersey City to get groceries: very few riders. Definitely less vehicular traffic. Delivery guys on bikes are ubiquitous.
Grocery stores and some drug stores have an old-fart hour at the beginning of the day. Very convenient--otherwise there'd be a lot of standing on line. People everywhere generally very good about the social-distance thing, but grocery stores and others have marked out spots to stand while waiting.
Masks fairly common but not universal by any means--maybe 50-60% of people I see? Lots of people walking/jogging/biking by the Hudson, but almost no one in my particular workout areas there (parking garage ramp, 200m stretch of boardwalk).
I guess everyone knows that the hospitals' situation is very tough. Bodies being stored in refrigerated trucks. A strong percentage of folks are "essential" workers in service and healthcare positions and they're exposed to a lot of people every day. Not seeing any peak in cases/deaths yet, and every day we're hearing about younger, othewise-healthy individuals getting very sick or dying. Every day.
