You know, just like couples die together from the flu or the common cold.

great story, thanks for posting, 70+ and with no prior conditions, since I'm sure they had regular check ups given to them for free from their insurance, didn't pray enough i guess, you can state hundreds cases like this, pls open a new thread each time you watch fox news, so we can elaborate
So were their vows, ‘in sickness and in heath . . . Til death does us part’
Sounds fitting, no?
Why would it more likely for Covid 19 to kill close family members? The opposite is presently true since 5 times as many people have died from the flu as what died from Covid 19. Actually, auto accident disproportionately kill family members more than any other cause. We really should outlaw all personal travel if we want to save lives, especially those of family members.
So asthma is suddenly no longer a pre-existing condition????

I know.
The flu has never killed any 70 plus year olds before.
Just watch this
Covid 19 is bad because it targets rich, old, white people who have pre-existing conditions. You know, the types who have a lot of money and control. Starvation will kill 9 million this year but those are mostly poor black children not worth saving. The flu hits everybody so it doesn't scare the old white folk since their odds seem better.
Yep...and the regular flu likes to pick on married couples as well:

And the regular flu also likes to target young people with a high-level of fitness:

Given that you think the Flu is worse than COVID-19; if you had to volunteer to be infected with one or the other what would you pick?

Do I get to pick the strain of flu, or is it randomly drawn, or does a third party pick?
I choose Covid 19 for me and my children but the flu for my elderly parents.
COVID-19 killed 6,000 people yesterday, 1,321 in the United States. The death toll is expanding rapidly and has a great deal of room to grow in many countries that are just on the verge of widespread infection. Very, very few countries have an infection or death toll curve that has come close to peaking. How is this like the flu?
Sounds like a messed up version of The Notebook.

Covid19 primarily kills a) the old and b) those with pre-existing conditions.
Flu this year in US has killed a bunch of kids. I think around 150. I'm not sure if there is any evidence COVID has killed any kid in the US this year. Were reports a teen died in California but now that is being backtracked and seems more nebulous. Same thing with an infant in Connecticut. Sounds like the infant was suffocated accidentally so I agree with giving the flu to kids.
This disease for adults sounds way worse than flu but it kills mainly the old and those with pre-existing conditions.
66% of those killed are over 65 in NYC. So far only 1.6% of those killed in NY didn't have underlying condition.
https://www1.nyc.gov/assets/doh/downloads/pdf/imm/covid-19-daily-data-summary-deaths-04042020-1.pdfAlso covid in NYC is also mainly killing in the poorer areas:

COVID-19 "linked" and "related" deaths
Do you understand what the word "like" means? Is a 5k more like a 10k than it is like the long jump? Is Covid 19 like the flu or is it like heart disease or cancer or measles? Hmmm. Virus. Sore throat. Cough. Fever. Aches. Spread through air or from surfaces. Doctors can't diagnose if it is the flu or Covid 19 without a test. So it has about 99% of things inc common with the flu except it seems to be more contagious and it is less deadly to the young.
No one gets out of this alive.
