Then why the eff are you even here?
"The suspects had locked themselves up in the establishment and were having drinks beyond the 7 o'clock set curfew time. Police had to force themselves in before arresting them," said Mr Mwinzi.
So they were inside - obeying the curfew - and the police broke INside to arrest them??????
Ten people, among them former World Marathon Record holder Wilson Kipsang and Kapchemutwo MCA Ambrose Kiplagat, have been fined Sh5,000 each for defying the dusk to dawn curfew. They will also be quarantined for 14 days at a state facility where they will be tested for Covid-19, Iten resident magistrate Charles Kutwo ruled.
WTF. They were inside obeying the curfew, not outside. So now they're going to be locked up INside, with many more people. The governments these days are seriously stupid.

I love Kenyan newspapers. I've become addicted to them. I don't read them for the doping busts anymore, just for the hilarious articles.
So if I've read that story correctly, a Kenyan MP refused to pay after a 'happy ending' at a 'massage parlour', and the jezebels then tried to frighten him by claiming they had infected him with the coronavirus?
In most countries in the West now, the Kenyan MP would be prosecuted for rape, and the pros would be prosecuted for attempted murder.

Don't make that mistake Renato. The guy you are replying to is probably Coevett. He is always pretending to be other posters. The real Avocado's Number is a very sensible person.
Coevett, you used to call people cowards for posting under different handles but you go as ex - runner, raddiisson, Spade Defecator, rekrrunr, and a couple of my past handles as well.
That's really annoying and childish.
I just saw this. I was shocked to see that some jackass was impersonating me, making the kind of vile comment that I would expect to see from someone like Coevett.
Although it should go without saying, the rules of this message board specifically prohibit anyone from impersonating another poster. If Coevett (or anyone else) is, indeed, impersonating other posters, including me, he should be banned.
He used to present a Christian family man image. What a backslide.

Kipsang and company have been taken to court.
They were fined a total of Kenya shillings 5,000 each.
That is about $50.00.
The other guy, an MCA (Member of the County Assembly of Elgeyo Marakwet) is an elected ppolitician who makes close to half a million shillings a month in salary and other emoluments ($5,000.00).
Fifty dollars is nothing to these guys.
Now, the resort is owned by Kipsang and has been permanently closed (assuming the reporting is true).
They'll also be quarantined for two weeks. They brought it unto themselves.
He’s done. They’re going to make an example of him.
Is this the big bust we were all waiting to hear about?

Until you register that name, there's no way to know anyone's being impersonated at all. It could already be five different people.
Good

That's right how long has it been since that guy calling himself a coach claimed big busts were going to be coming left and right ?
Think it was February. There was a recent BBC article that backed-up what he posted on here.

Was hardly a vile comment.
In fairness, it must be difficult for the Italian coaches at the moment with the lack of races and lack of access to their charges.
What if they all start trying to dope without proper supervision? What if some other shady character who's already in Kenya is able to provide a better service?

I wonder if the Italian and foreign coaches and managers are still expecting to be paid by the Kenyan runners? How are sub-elites or young athletes going to do this with no races and no earnings (other than those with sponsorship) likely for another year?

Wasn't me.
If you don't want to be impersonated, then register your name.
If you register your name, then people can't anonymously post as a name similar to yours.
There's also a difference between impersonating another poster (as in attempting to deceive others) and clear satire.
Sad to see what's happened to Wilson, who always seemed better than this. It all started when that Japanese grifter guy came on board with his management.

Mutahi Kagwe said that the problem with Kenyans is that we are NOT disciplined.
If everything being reported is as it is, I hope they make an example of him. They should also 'fumigate' that place at his cost..............and then, quarantine them till they are satisfied that they are clean..
Shida yetu ni kwamba we are NOT disciplined.
I saw photos of young people driving to tea plantations to drink (alcohol) and they are many. It is like those college kids on Miami beach. Ujinga!
