I've just seen this.
Kipsang is not a very reasonable man it seems.
the problem with Kenya is that 'big' people usually get away with misdemeanors and even crimes.
This might get nowhere.

Well, if you are going to get banned for doping, might as well go out drinking!
EPO supply cut off due to the Corona crisis. Italian coaches stuck in Italy.
Kenyan runners turning to the bottle!
He's become Kenya's bad boy pretty quick.
Now all he has to do is identify as a female and start again. Since we favour equality he will be given a clean slate to run as a female and set all the records.
Instead Avocados Numbers are able to increase their stupidity not only staying at home, but going everywhere. Congrats, good example of idiots on the Website !
Who cares about a 122 lb man ... such a stupid sport filled with fanboy jock sniffing
must be nice and cheap to get drunk off a 20oz beer

Don't make that mistake Renato. The guy you are replying to is probably Coevett. He is always pretending to be other posters. The real Avocado's Number is a very sensible person.
Coevett, you used to call people cowards for posting under different handles but you go as ex - runner, raddiisson, Spade Defecator, rekrrunr, and a couple of my past handles as well.
That's really annoying and childish.
Kipsang and company have been taken to court.
They were fined a total of Kenya shillings 5,000 each.
That is about $50.00.
The other guy, an MCA (Member of the County Assembly of Elgeyo Marakwet) is an elected ppolitician who makes close to half a million shillings a month in salary and other emoluments ($5,000.00).
Fifty dollars is nothing to these guys.
Now, the resort is owned by Kipsang and has been permanently closed (assuming the reporting is true).
They'll also be quarantined for two weeks. They brought it unto themselves.
No one cares... The man is a tool, that was used by adidas, iaaf, Kenya.. time to move aside. No more about this useless person ..time to drink and get fat. He’ll be forgotten in less than 5 years ... lol
I would really like to read something in-depth about the alcohol issues with Kenyan runners.
And before you say Kipsang doesn't have an issue, remember he was just arrested for drinking illegally.
The Italian coaches selling EPO and HGH are going out of business . They will have to sell Blue Meth and street drugs to make ends meet.
This is a much more interesting article in the same newspaper.
Who would have ever thought Kipsang doesn't follow the rules???

^This. A cheat in his professional life, a cheat in his private life.
It looks to me like it was a case of blackmail by police gone wrong. Kipsang owns the said club/restaurant he was arrested in. The Kenyan police are notorious for using rules and the law to blackmail, seek for bribe and make a quick buck. It seems like the police trailed him as he headed to his club in iten and as soon as he arrived was nabbed and charges set up probably because he refused to pay a bribe.
