Do the 5 million black children's lives matter who will die of starvation this year? We could have saved them for a fraction of what it will cost us to save 50,000 old white fat cats in the US. I guess they all matter but some are worth pennies while are worth millions of $.

Would like to see statistics for how many healthy people who had years of life ahead of them have been killed by the coronavirus
Obviously if we're counting people who we're on death's door and maybe pushed Over the Edge by this or any other countless respiratory viruses, it's not that meaningful
It would seem now that we're testing everyone who dies for this that the numbers will be inflated because we're simply looking for the virus in everyone who dies
We don't do that with a lot of other respiratory viruses
Anyway would love to hear some info on how many healthy people who would not have been likely to be killed are being killed by this
Personally I don't know of anyone in that category and no one I know does either
What do you guys think?
For the idiots out there who claim this is nothing more than the flu. I have lived for 41 years and I don’t know one single person who has died from the “flu”. This Covid-19 thing has been around for a few months and I PERSONALLY know three perfectly healthy people who have died from this virus....in three different states. One in his mid thirties and the other two in their mid fifties. I also had a lifelong friend with no previous health problems who suddenly died in late December of pneumonia. I’m starting to wonder if her death was misdiagnosed. Wake up, this is SERIOUS!!!!!
I have read hundreds of posts on this site regarding this topic and yours is the dumbest. I know 3 people who died of lightning strikes so that is serious. Wait, I also know 3 people who died in car crashes so that is serious. Wait, I also know 3 people who died of the flu so that is serious. I know nobody who died of Covid 19 so end of discussion.
In your lifetime, over 2 million people died of the flu in the US while only 2400 died of Covid 19. We know how to check stats. Apparently you do not.
Oooooh that a real tricky one, cutting edge stuff.
Yes is the answer - ALL lives matter.
"One method of calculating influenza mortality produced an estimate of 41,400 average deaths per year in the United States between 1979 and 2001."
Where were all of you scaremongers during the 1980s and 1990s?
Did you call for a total lockdown when 40,000 Americans were dying every year to the flu?

We didn’t have a weak president then who declared a National Emergency. I see your point.

I don't. You are saying Trump made the wrong decision declaring a national emergency? A stronger President would have told the public to carry on business as usual? I like it and love to have Obama back of that would have been the path.
It flew right over your head.
Thanks for shearing this post.
