Just fine. I'm not spending any money that I wouldn't be spending otherwise, so putting purchases on a credit card that I pay in full every month is not substantively different from paying by any other means. Getting some airline miles just for using my CC instead of my debit card is just an added perk. Might help, can't hurt, no harm done.
Great! I pay the same price as cash (except at gas stations, so I don’t use it there!) and have travelled for free many times. Never carried a balance, so no interest! I can also use my points for gift cards, so if the airlines collapse, I’ve still got value! It’s pretty fantastic!
earn an international flight every 18 months or so, pay $45 a year fee but that gets me free checked baggage and a free ticket as well, no interest paid. So far so good.
would make sense to cancel if i accumulate more miles than i need though or lost my job.
i thnk on average people break even on these deals, doesn't mean you can't make it work.
Fantastic. I never carry a balance so I never pay extra, in fact it is cheaper than paying Bank fees for using debit or using an ATM. So it's cheaper, easier, and I get free stuff (way more than just free flights).
So it's win, win, win.
Why would it make any more difference now than normally?
Works great, but it might not be good for everyone. Also a bonus of my card is bags fly free.
For some people a cash back card is better option.
Pretty awesome, actually. Hit my spending goal and got my $750 in travel. My free weekend vouchers from Hilton are extended till next year, and I just cancelled my Kona trip that was planned for 3/26-3/30 for no fees.
Still getting 4.5 cents back on every mobile transaction too with Altitude Reserve. 4 cents on gas with Costco. 5 cents with Discover. So much cash back
As if today:
1,682,445 Hilton Points
2,649,703 United Airlines Miles
As long as Covid doesn’t take me out, I’ll be traveling to races often.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?

Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
