Got out the door pretty much on time. good run. really feeling pretty good running wise. enjoyed stomach being better for sure. got a little over 10 in.
first couple beers i'll admit went down slow. timer would go off and i would still have to finish a bit. but by 4 they were good again and i did another tall boy for 5th one today and enjoyed that one. tried to eat more today, good for BAC but i'm so full. gonna try and catch a nap here before second run and another 7 hours of drinking...
BAC: .077
chillin..

so far so good. did 4.5 and some strides and loop ended up being about 5.4. legs aren't too bad. was tired before but nap helped. feeling good now. enjoying the beer. was waiting for the timer to go to open my second tonight. Have been pretty positive, only negative thought i've had is not that I can't do it but just that 7 das is a long time to do this and get nothing done... have been extremely unproductive. hopefully by monday i'm mastered it and can do some stuff.
Update?
Where’s a black man get Helly Hansen coat at? Know what I’m saying?

Welp, smooth night. BAC .118 though. Surprised on that reading... feel fine. Put down the beers mostly without issue and right on pace. Also ate pretty well. Will be interesting to see how tolerance changes as the week goes on. Not worried about morning though. Trying to drink more water though. 2 down 5 to go
Your drove over .08? Is getting attention on the internet for a few days really that important to you?
surely you have no experience testing BAC if these numbers are a surprise to you. i drove to work for the final time, and tested when I got there. you have to wait 20min after drinking to get an accurate reading. but yes, i'm so stoked to make "CoronaCanChallenge" famous... lighten up

having number 3 right now. i'll admit a slight headache when i woke up. need to drink more water... left about 10min late. couldn't get off the toilet. other than stomach, felt fine on the run. beautiful day today. didn't mind the first couple beers at all either. little tired again though so i will try for a nap after these morning 5. i think my strategy is sound, its safe, though monotonous. people usually try a more random or "fun" method. i'll stick to this... though the challenge will be more mental to just keep going for 7 days straight of being a bum... also being quarantined and living alone means essentially no person to person interaction.
also realized i didn't mention this but i do live at over 5500ft, not looking for a conversion or anything but i do suppose it makes both the running and drinking (and recovery) harder.. all for now
How we holding up? How was the second run? What has been your music genre of choice during this challenge? We need updates

I think that the cops have more to worry about right now than pulling someone over who’s driving a bit drunk.
Miles run: 46.6

easiest night yet honestly. I recounted like three times because I didnt think i was done. i tried to actually keep myself busy tonight which helps a ton. another tall boy to finish. done 6 of those now so only 4 more of those left. I also have all of the beers in the fridge which is cool. held around 65 at peak. i have just a couple koozies left but that has been really fun. I have a pic with each one. all but the first 4 beers on day 1. should have around 50 koozies so ill just start again.
my run was good. loop was a little short so i added on and ended up at like 5.6. tired today sleep wise was my only concern. i think keeping bac down is huge for getting better sleep. hopefully hydration was better today and i can keep pressing on tomorrow. I am typing this after last beer but before blowing, i will post BAC when 20min window is up
BAC: .0118
interesting. seems my tolerance hasnt gone up but just my perception of tolerance... harder than i thought it would be to stay below .08, will still stick to 42min until i wake up feeling bad because I want the sleep. interesting experiment.
to the fella on instagram who just started... we certainly are not doing this the same way. good luck with that
.118 is obivoulsy what i meant... oof, proof of the BAC right there. oddly its the exact same as last night, and again i am taking 3 tests and averaging them for all of the readings i have posted. goodnight!
Miles Run: 56.6

was late this morning. felt fine waking up but couldn't get off the toilet. left about 8:25. every day now it hasnt been until about mile 8 that my stomach feels fine. that's tough... long time to feel like crap, and you have to run somewhere where you can drop trow at any moment.
beers fine again. BAC better. will wait a bit but need to run to my office again. then back on the grind. stomach definitely the hardest part of this
Eat cheese! It might help with not needing to drop trow on every run. Cork ya up. What do you call a magical poop?

They absolutely do. But if the off chance he gets pulled over for speeding, running a red light or someone crashes into him, his life is screwed up over a week long letsrun thread. Hopefully he eventually grows up.

afternoon run was solid. my fastest run yet. apparently weather will be bad tomorrow though so a little worried about that.
beers were slow tonight... just full. stomach better. ate well. somehow I actually left an empty beer (and koozie) out so i ended up cracking my tall boy for my 16th today, 61 overall. couldn't figure out why i was so late. I knew my runs were each about 20min late but i couldnt figure out why i still had a tall boy to drink at 11:20... then i noticed it across the room. i have been putting all the empty cans back in their case. i will figure out how to post pictures tomorrow.... no bac tonight i don't feel like waiting 20min....
goodnight to everyone except "southernfriedrealist" dude, you are on a letsrun thread covering a bicentennial challenge. i think you're in the wrong place...

Best run i've had yet. a little late start but didn't feel terrible when i woke up despite the extra beer last night. stomach under control on run. first couple beers were good but it got slow. i'm so full. but yet hungry. its getting boring too honestly. becoming a mental challenge. i'm alone in quarantine. alone for all the miles, all the drinking. it's a good time to do it work wise, but its definitely not what you envision when you glamorize it in your head. i will press on... but the drinking has become a chore. at least in the morning. i just have to actively drink. i can't get anything done. drinking is my job. not a fun way to drink i will tell you that much... will stick to the plan and set myself up for an easy 7th day. hopefully a fun one with only one run and then can drink for fun. no timers. the end is what's keeping me going. a tall boy again for my 5th one today. only one more of those to go.
Don't drive under the afluence of incohol.
Good luck with the challenge, I am following it :D
