NORWALK, Connecticut -- Two-time Masters world record holder Mary Roman died Monday evening at the age of 84 due to the coronavirus, her son Michael confirmed. The beloved shot putter leaves behind four sons, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roman earned her first national title at 65-years-old and represented Team USATF at several World Masters Athletics Championships. .
