From what I've seen in the movies if a dealer does not move enough product they get iced by their crime boss. Will all the low level drug dealers get iced since they can't move enough weight?

Good point!
Or because now everyone doesn't have to go to work might see increase in demand
The virus can be transmitted by handling cash so that should help take a bunch down.

I don't know if it will cause an increase, but I certainly don't think people are going to stop buying drugs.
What about drug addicts? Can you still get your coke or heroine fix? That stuff seems to always be around no matter what.
It's more likely to bring out the closet addicts.
I think it is safe to assume that since everyone else is under quarantine, the only people driving around are drug dealers. It should make the police's job easier than ever.
There won't be any supply to sell -that's going to be the real issue. Most drugs are smuggled across the border using regular crossings. They are all being closed which will effectively stop the flow of drugs across the border. What you more likely to see is some very desperate drug users unable to get their drugs.

I don't think that is true. At the very least it is over broad.
Cannabis generally isn't cross borders at this point.
The post office is still working and they are the largest drug delivery company in the world.
I’m sure the cartels will issue their own economic stimulus plans to their employees.
My plug is still doing his thing. He's been in the biz for ~15 years.
Just bought 1/2 oz of Grapefruit (sativa) on Monday. Had to stock up in case he does get iced!
I should note that he gets his stuff from legal states, so until they shut down interstate borders, my supply should be steady.
the legal supplies are closing up. Mass is closing the recreational suppliers. So its back to Your Guy. i just stocked up myself.....

This guy is right. Harder drugs depend a lot on imports, and the supply chain is definitely disrupted.
No one gets wacked because the demanded is still there to unload. They can probably up the price even. The market should get interesting.
As we speak, there are members from various cartels in Mexico trafficking drugs over the border DAILY. Nothing will stop the drug trafficking business and you'd have to be ignorant not to realize that the U.S. is the biggest dope fein in the world. These guys aren't gonna let the COVID stop them from making their money. The places on lockdown in the U.S. are not as important as the Sinaloa Cartel, Los Zetas, CJNG, etc...
No! Addicts need their drugs. They will find a way to make it happen.
It is a bit optimistic to believe that people who have daily risk of being arrested and jailed will comply and accept a lockdown. Drug dealing will thrive as usual.
