Says in the report he feels fine and doesn't have any symptoms. I thought this coronavirus thing was supposed to kill people???
!@*#@#!@. I see how people want posters like you banned. I want to yell at my computer.
Many people can get this and not have symptoms. Say 50% of people are fine, 20% severely sick and 1% die. Adjust any of the numbers however you want. Hell say 99.9% of people are fine and .1% drop dead (that's still 1/1000). Would still be very serious.
Talk about an overreaction. The typical flu viruses kill .1% of those infected. Should we continuously shut down the world because there is a chance people may die? There's a certain risk we have to live with.
I think this poster is just pointing out the wild overreaction and the ridiculous numbers being tossed around.
Also, the fact that this disease is really only dangerous to the frail and very old is important to be aware of. At a certain point in your life it all becomes natural causes. I'm not talking about a middle-aged person, I'm talking about people requiring constant care in nursing homes. If this virus actually had the reported death rates and also affected those in good health we should take a different approach. But the media and "experts" are completely misconstruing the situation and doing the stats differently than is done for other viruses in a way that completely irresponsibly has the public terrified about a minor threat.
