Hope they let the elites run...
Wow, so we're going to have Berlin, Boston, London, Chicago, and NYC all within a 6-8 week period?
And if Tokyo Olympic marathon happens, then 6 majors in 4 month
More like 1.5 months. Sept 14 Boston to Nov 1 NYC.
The Tokyo Oly Marathons would be August 8 & 9.
Imagine how fit Kipchoge will be by then...
this could be interesting as many run multiple majors in the same year.
Each race will probably have many no-shows.
Possibly the races could re-open registration if they decide to refund entry fees for those who decide not to enter their respective marathons.
oh man, will we ever see bekele vs kipchoge in there prime
Hello everything is is canceled in the human sports world except La Liga soccer

Will there be a special finisher's medal for anyone who completes all of them? The Olympiriffic Challenge or something?

We already seen it. Kipchoge wins marathon every time. He loses to Bekele at the shorter track distances.
I disagree with postponing. Either cancel it or hold it. Partial refunds.
UK Athletics have now said they will arrange a new Olympic trial race in 'closed' conditions for late April:
“We can confirm that we are planning to stage a marathon trial specifically for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games,” a British Athletics spokesperson said. “We are looking at 25 to 27 April, and the event would be held in a closed location, with limited numbers.”
I’m surprised they aren’t building an elite race into the British trials race. Another chance to see Kipchoge and Bekele duke it out fades away. I wouldn’t be shocked if Bekele wasn’t picked for the Olympics as the Ethiopian selection is typically quite bizarre at the best of times. Makes me wonder if we’ll ever get the opportunity to see them both in action at their respective bests...

We've already see. It. Kipchoge wins marathon, Bekele wins shorter distances. Sad to miss Kipchoge after his sub2 while Bekele battle it out for 2nd.
Maybe now we'll get a chance to see Kipchoge go for Kamworor's half marathon record while he's in this kind of shape!

He could do it in Kenya because Coronavirus is almost nonexistent there.
