My prediction was incredibly astute. I told everyone not to panic and that the Dow (and the other markets) would return in a few months to previous lofty highs. Still 2/5 months to go but my prediction largely bared itself out, despite the blip that was yesterday.

You said "by July" coronavirus would be but a memory and we'd be back to 30k DJIA. July is two and a half weeks away.

Go back and read what I wrote. I said give it to the end of August.

Up close to 400 already today. Warmer weather going to wipe out this phony pandemic. Will be but a memory by July.

DJIA was 25k when you posted the above. It's 25k now, too.

The Dow was 27,000 yesterday. It goes up and down. Give it another 2.5 months and I see it back at 29,000 or higher.

It wasn't bad advice when she said it. I did research and discovered something similar occurred eleven years ago with H1N1. My portfolio is up about 35% for the year (in 2009 markets rallied to 37% higher than their low that year). How is yours?

DJIA is literally up less than 1% from when he started the thread, and it won't be 30k by July like he claimed.

Oh wait, someone else said something false therefore when I said something idiotic it wasn't really idiotic. Great logic, chief!
And good job, Nostradamus!

As I told you at the time, here we are at July and the DJIA is not 30k.
Shocked, you must be. I'll start taking apologies.

Still accepting apologies - it's never too late Sally!
Looks like you were 1 out of 2 on these predictions.

My prediction was for 30,000 by the end of August. Still almost 2 months away. The Nasdaq is at all-time highs. The S & P is at near record-highs. My prediction for the market rebound was all-encompassing, that the 2 other indices would rebound with vigor as well. The Dow has already rebounded from 18,500 a few months ago back up to above 26,200 or so. With a vaccine the Dow will rise up to 30,000 in no time. Trust me on this.

You can see very clearly in the quote tree, if you read, that you said "by July". Can you read?

I will admit that I maybe very early on said "by July" but that was soon amended to "by the end of August." Writers and journalists have to "update" their writings all the time. (I say that last bit with a smile on my face).
“by July” still means by July.
