I've been reading a lot of interest things about this virus craze which has literally been sweeping the nation. One of these things has been that temperature may have an effect on the incubation process, e.g. very few cases being reported due to hotter temperatures there rather than the winter temperatures in mainland Europe.
That got me thinking - When we're out running in these exciting times, shouldn't we be doing everything we can - whilst in public and potentially exposed to this killer - to ensure that our body cores are as hot as possible? i.e. running along at an easy pace, shivering in low temperatures, may scientifically speaking be a very poor move.
Should we - at minimum - be tempo'ing every single outdoor run we take?
