I'm nowhere near quitting myself, barring getting hit by a car or savaged by a loose dog, but I'm just curious as to why people decide thats it. I don't think I'll quit even when I can't hit another pr as most of my family line is fat and I'd probably end up pretty chubby, but I envy the people who can not run a step and drop their appetite to maintain weight. If you want, you can explain a little about your decision to "retire" from the sport, or just tell how your last race went. Those who stopped seriously competing and just run for fitness are welcome to tell about their last good race too. As an aside, is anyone planning to hang them up after the trials yesterday? Or maybe after outdoor this year?
