Haven't run a race in a long time so want to get an idea of what sort of 5k shape I'm in so I can plan how hard to go out. I recently did this workout on a flat loop in pretty windy/cold conditions.
6 x mile (90 sec rest)
5:51, 5:46, 5:48, 5:48, 5:54, 5:40
Workout didn't feel very hard. Went after it on the last one but felt "comfortably uncomfortable" throughout except the last rep.
I'm hoping I can run 17:30 but wondering if that is too conservative?
